CuriocornPrivacy Policy

Curiocorn ("we") makes the Curiocorn app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising or tracking across other apps.
What we collect
- Account details (only if you sign in): email address, name, handle and avatar choice.
- Onboarding answers: age range, gender (optional, "prefer not to say" is available), interests and the challenges you pick. Used only to personalise your feed; never shown publicly.
- Your content: saved ideas, stashes, notes and reading progress, so they can sync across your devices.
- Usage data: which screens and features you use, with an anonymous app-install ID, to improve the app.
- Error reports: technical details when something crashes.
- Email preferences: if you opt in to tips or the weekly digest.
Voice playback uses your device's built-in text-to-speech; no audio is recorded or sent to us. If you set a profile photo, it stays on your device.
How we use it
To run the app and sync your data, personalise which ideas you see, send reminders and emails you've asked for, and fix bugs. Without signing in, your data stays on your device.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that run the app for us, under contract: Supabase (database and sign-in) and Cloudflare (website and email). App stores process payments if you subscribe; we never see your card details.
How long we keep it
While your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
- Edit your interests and email preferences in the app at any time.
- Delete your account in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or from this page.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for corrections, by emailing privacy@curiocorn.com.
Children
Curiocorn is for adults (18+) and isn't directed at children.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and protected by access controls at our providers.
Changes
We'll update the date above and tell you in the app if anything important changes.
